Open positions

We are always in search for new, passionate and talented group members at all levels!

You will be part of a dynamic and fresh workgroup, where you can work with state of the art cryogenic and electronic equipment and will have access to top notch nanofabrication facilities. You will be working on fundamentally important scientific questions in the intersection of condensed matter physics, quantum materials and quantum technologies.

Current vacancies

We are looking for an excellent postdoctoral researcher for an interdepartmental research project funded by the Excellence Initiative Nano. The scientific topic is the investigation of skyrmions and other exotic, topologically protected magnetic orders in a circuit QED geometry by microwave reflectometry with a goal of connecting quantum technologies with exotic magnetic orders. Interested candidates please apply at the job portal of Chalmers and feel free to contact in case of questions.

Masters projects

If you are a physics or nanotechnology MSc student at Chalmers, and looking for a masters project, please contact or drop by for a discussion. An example MSc project description listed by the Excellence Initiative Nano concerns the development of microfabricated cryogenic filters for quantum devices. However, we welcome other sound ideas as well.

External scholarships

If you have your own scholarship or plan to apply for one, drop us an to discuss possible projects of mutual scientific interest.

Possible opportunities include the Marie Curie individual fellowship for postdoctoral researchers.

Interested PhD candidates can consider the annual Excellence PhD call of the Excellence Initiative Nano at Chalmers. The deadline of the 2022 call is 15 March 2022. See the application form here.
